Quick game report from Chris Augeri: We had a great game in Belchertown and won 8-7. Great performances from starting pitcher Frank Makos, 3 innings, 2 hits, no runs, 6 K's. Dave Pinard also pitched well in relief, 3 innings, 4 hits, 4 K's, one run (earned). Bob Chateauneuf was the winning pitcher and had 4 hits at the plate. Bill Wooster had three key hits and 3 RBI's and earned the save in relief. Tom Knox had 3 hits. Jack Muse played very well including a good defensive play at 3B as well as a leadoff double in the 9th inning (his 2nd hit), well over the left fielder into deep LF and ended up scoring the game winning run. An email message from Rick of the QVOTB Orioles: I would like to say Thank You to all the players in your league for coming to our town to play in the game this past Sunday.
