Mike Doherty - By default, had to slide to shortstop. Makes a nice ranging play in the hole for a 6-3 Putout, along with a 6-2 forceout where he magically didn't throw a ball away

Mariano Cirino - Welcome to the Athletics! Smooth in CF, and showed off that gun hosing a runner for an 8-3 Putout, then tried out pitching and looked promising!

Mark Magoon - Not the start he wanted, little battle getting the rock back, instantly ends an inning with a great 5–2-3 DP. And we LOVE DP's on the A's! Thank God Mastas learned foot placement on the plate so the out counted this time. Dave brown the 3 in the 5

Joe Braga - Had a runner dead to rights caught stealing, but bellies gonna belly =)

Andrew Poitras - Outstanding pitching!!! One hit over 6 innings with 11 K's!!! Gets the W.

Frank Cudequest - Not his normal lights out pitching but only allowed one hit in 3 innings and 5 K's!

Dan Hickey - Great work all nine behind the plate, squirrly catch near the backstop on a foul pop for a big out

Twins Team - Another great game between the Twins and Giants. Good start men.

Giants Defense Highlights

Chris Markuns - Threw two runners out stealing. Did nine behind the dish.

Ricky Garthe - Solid 4 innings on the hill. **** Oscar Aquino solid middle relief.

Giants Team - Mental mistakes and gave up 9 walks. Just cannot do this against good teams like the Twins.
